Prices for MS Sunnhordland vary according to season, day of the week and type of event. Accommodation includes breakfast, and the ship offers several cabin types. See booking for updated prices for cabins.

Overnight stays

Prices per night incl. breakfast. Incl. 12 % VAT on accommodation. 25% VAT on food. Prices for spring 2026 at the quay in Leirvik centre or during sailing Festival prices will vary on a case-by-case basis.

3 hours sailing time

Budget: 150.000 kr,-

  • Out on Friday at 1800 and sailing for 3 hours and back to the quay at Leirvik.
  • Renting the ship and restaurant until 2400 hrs at the quayside
  • Drinks at the bar are additional or self-pay.
  • Those staying overnight pay for their own cabins and breakfast

Sailas Sat-Sun

Budget: 300.000 kr,-

  • Sailing out on Saturday morning and back on Sunday
  • Parties and activities, shore excursions during the day
  • There's a big party on Saturday night and everyone stays overnight, and the ship is happy to stop at any desired location.
  • Back on Sunday until 1500

There will be two full days, with lunch on Saturday and lunch on Sunday and 50 guests staying overnight. The budget will then be approximately NOK 300,000 in return for guests paying for their own cabins and beverages apart from the wine package.

Budget: 475.000 kr,-

  • That's 1 dinner and 1 wine package extra, plus 1 day.
  • The budget price is then NOK 475,000 + accommodation.

This is an example that makes you realise what kind of experiences such a unique ship can provide, as opposed to a more traditional celebration at various hotels around the world.

Here, you can look at many variations, for fancier arrangements or simpler ones. Some include an own share for the party participants.

Meeting room hire

MS Sunnhordland offers unique and atmospheric meeting rooms in maritime surroundings, suitable for both small and large groups.

The ship has several lounges and common areas that are ideal for meetings, courses and gatherings - from small meetings for 8-10 people to events for up to 60 participants.

Confirmation at the quayside

Hire the entire 3rd deck for up to 5 hours, with a minimum of 40 paying guests for dinner. Fixed rental price is in addition to food.

If there are fewer than 40 guests, the area will be divided between two confirmation parties. Any sailing trips are priced according to our own price list.

Note: The ship is not hired out for parties, weddings or meetings where customers bring their own food or drink. Exceptions are made for cakes at large family dinners.

With a large function room, food service and all the rights and opportunities to both stay overnight and travel, the boat is flexible for most weddings, anniversaries, company parties, smaller gatherings and much more.
